Kathryn's press on my kitchen table
Kathryn's press in her Christchurch studio
After painting a commercial mural in Christchurch I started building two table top presses, one for a print maker in Christchurch and one for a print maker in Auckland. One is finished and the other waits while I get over this year's model of the flu which has knocked my energy levels for a six. On the mend now and life is beautiful again..

Table Top Etching Press For Sale
This press is made from a 1908 design antique, has a press bed 530 x 750 mm (about 21 x 30 inches) and you can have it in your studio for a mere fraction of a King's ransom. Are you lucky or what?
Go on- choose the lucky option... or what is kinda vacuous, not exciting at all I reckon but, of course, costs naught.

Table Top Etching Press For Sale

This little beauty was hastily rushed into service last week at the printmaking class I am teaching on Thursday nights in one of the art rooms at Waihi College and is being finished off to ready it for eventual sale.
I have six other etching presses in varying stages of completion. One of the table top presses I will have to keep for the class and one free standing press I will have to retain for my own use and five will go to new homes. This press was sold to a Wellington print-maker.
